Alfred Polansky
Writer and composer, lute player, guitarist
As an interpreter of his own pieces Polansky collaborates with many artists and ensembles.
Additional to numerous solo concerts he gave concerts together with the Andalusian flamenco-virtuoso Antonio González Muñoz, the Armenian mezzo-soprano Stella Grigorian (soloist singer at the Vienna State Opera), the Russian mezzo-soprano Arina Holecek (Vienna State Opera), the Spanish mezzo-soprano Sara Almazán, the Hungarian folk music ensemble “Szeredás”, the Hungarian singer Márta Sebestyén (Grammy Award 1996), the Vienna Symphonic Chamber Orchestra, the trumpet player Paul Schwingenschlögl.
Alfred Polansky, further collaborated with artists from other disciplines on joint projects, i.e. H.C. Artmann, Peter Rosei (literature), and was commissioned by Peter Patzak, an Austrian film director, to compose parts of his film-music.

Two of his novels were published by the ‘Drehbuch Verlag’: “Die Zeit der Lilie” and “Lorettas Traum”.
The story “Für Freunde und Feinde” (‘For friends and foes’) as well as the short story “Die Besucher” (‘The Visitors’) were published in the self-publishing.
